What are the responsibilities and job description for the Camera Operator - Seasonal position at Fairgrounds - New Orleans, LA?
Responsibilities:
- Operate television camera equipment in both studio and ENG configurations.
- Understand what is needed to work in a live television environment.
- Climb 50 foot towers multiple times during a shift.
- Follow established safety guidelines for tower and roof locations.
- Secure camera location and equipment following live production.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must consent to and successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Must be 18 years or older (required by Casino and/or State regulations).
- Must be able to obtain a Louisiana Racing Commission License. (Company will provide application.)
Preferred:
- Previous experience in live television production.
- Familiar with various aspects of television production.
