What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician/Receptionist position at Fairmont Optometric Clinic?
We are looking for a detail oriented people person who is willing to work hard in a team environment. Work duties will involve filing charts, performing preliminary and ancillary testing on patients, answering phones, scheduling patients, insurance verification, and other duties as they arise. We are a small office and like our team to learn how to do everything in case someone is out sick or on vacation. This career opportunity will primarily involve work as an optometric technician helping patients as they go through their eye exam appointment and may evolve to include working as a scribe or in the optical assisting with adjustments and repairs.
Experience in healthcare is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
