We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Custom Shower Door Designer to join our esteemed team. If you have a passion for leveraging your engineering and drafting expertise to create custom solutions, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop customer approval drawings and fabrication blueprints for custom shower doors utilizing 3D CAD and specialized configuration software.
- Generate standard part and assembly drawings as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with customer expectations and manufacturing capabilities.
- Communicate engineering details to external resources when required.
- Identify and propose solutions for work process issues.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD and shower door configuration software.
- Solid understanding of engineering blueprints and technical product knowledge.
- Experience in 2D CAD with Draftsite or AutoCAD is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (Friedman AS400) and product configurations.
- 3D modeling expertise in SolidWorks is preferred.
- Associate’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field, or a SolidWorks Certification.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a drafting or engineering capacity.
