Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Custom Shower Door Designer to join our innovative team in Mason, OH. In this pivotal role, you will utilize your engineering and drafting expertise to create exceptional custom shower door designs that align with client specifications and our manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce custom shower door customer approval drawings and fabrication drawings utilizing 3D CAD and shower door configuration software.
• Develop standard part and assembly drawings as needed.
• Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to convey engineering information to external resources when necessary.
• Identify and address work process issues while proposing effective solutions.
• Maintain proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, particularly Friedman AS400, and uphold technical knowledge of products and engineering blueprints.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency in 3D CAD and shower door configuration software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, customers, and management.
• Ability to analyze work process challenges and implement viable solutions.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (Friedman AS400) and technical knowledge of engineering blueprints.

• An Associate’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field, or a SolidWorks Certification.
• 1-3 years of experience in relevant design or engineering roles.
