Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis and modifications of intricate legacy program modules.
- Code and rigorously test both new and existing modules for major upgrades.
- Engage effectively with diverse teams of business, management, and IT stakeholders.
- Document all phases of implementation and testing processes.
- Develop solutions for intricate system challenges.
- Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, TSO, MVS JCL, ENDEVOR, CA Tools, SQL, DB2, and VSAM.
- Strong command of programming techniques within a mainframe setting.
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), along with presentation capabilities.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, planning, and scheduling competencies.
- Ability to tackle complex problems and deliver insightful solutions.
- Experience in the analysis and modification of financial processes.
- Self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a diverse team environment.
- Proven track record in the analysis and design of legacy applications.
- Demonstrated success working on large project teams.
- Extensive knowledge of fundamental programming principles and methodologies.
- Experience with state or county government (preferred).
