We are seeking a dedicated Service Support Analyst to join the North Carolina Medicaid Infrastructure Team on a contract basis. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient deployment and servicing of essential technology for the Division of Health Benefits (DHB). The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, providing support to employees, contractors, and temporary staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management, deployment, and return of division computers, peripherals, and related software.
- Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Function as a delegated administrator for the North Carolina ID (NCID) system, facilitating the creation, deactivation, unlocking, and resetting of DHB staff NCID accounts.
- Support the setup and maintenance of Cisco telephone and network equipment as well as other technology-related tasks as required.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with computer hardware and software deployment processes.
- Experience with Cisco telephone and network systems.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook and navigating Active Directory.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in customer support contexts.
- U.S. citizenship or valid Green Card is mandatory.
- Prior experience in IT support or technology deployment is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional IT certifications or coursework is advantageous.
