We are seeking a dedicated Service Support Analyst to join the NC Medicaid Infrastructure Team. In this pivotal role, you will assist the Team Manager in the organization, servicing, and deployment of essential technology for the Division of Health Benefits (DHB). This position is critical in ensuring the seamless operation of technology systems for DHB employees, contractors, and temporary workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the deployment and return of division computers and related equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Serve as a delegated administrator for the North Carolina ID (NCID) system, responsible for assisting with the creation, deactivation, unlocking, and resetting of DHB staff NCID accounts.
- Act as the primary contact for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting computer systems and associated technology.
- Familiarity with Cisco telecommunication systems.
- Experience with the NCID system and Active Directory.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage the deployment and tracking of equipment.
- Must be a US citizen or possess a Green Card.
- Previous experience in IT support or a related field is advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate degree in Information Technology or a related discipline is preferred.
- Competitive W-2 rate of up to $30/hour.
- On-site position with opportunities for corp-to-corp arrangements.
