Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the Child Welfare Information System (CWIS) functionalities to create and deliver effective classroom training and eLearning courses.
- Collaborate closely with the Training Lead, Business and Agile Teams, Development Team, and various subject matter experts to gather requirements and design impactful training materials.
- Develop and maintain Adobe FrameMaker templates and scripts, ensuring that all instructional materials align with adult learning principles.
- Facilitate both classroom and virtual training sessions for staff overseeing Child Welfare programs, ensuring engagement and knowledge retention.
- Revise and update training materials in response to feedback and evolving organizational needs.
- Travel statewide to deliver training sessions, with expectations of up to 30% travel, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong understanding and application of adult learning principles.
- Proficient in instructional design and eLearning development, including experience with Adobe FrameMaker or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with an ability to engage diverse learners.
- Strong analytical skills to effectively understand and relay CWIS functionalities to end-users.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in training development and delivery, particularly in settings that involve adult learners.
- Previous experience with Child Welfare programs is highly desirable.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field is preferred, along with any relevant credentials in Adult Education or Instructional Design.
