You will serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and repairs, ensuring seamless technology operations for DHB employees, contractors, and temporary workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee division computers, peripherals, and software, including deployment and return processes for desktops, laptops, printers, and other equipment.
- Act as a delegated administrator for the North Carolina ID (NCID) system, assisting with account creation, deactivation, unlocking, and resetting of DHB staff NCID accounts.
- Provide support for the telephone system, including the deployment of phones in offices and conference rooms, submitting service requests for new and existing staff, and troubleshooting phone-related issues.
- Support DHB users with their IT inquiries using the ServiceNow ticketing system, monitoring requests and documenting resolutions.
- Assist in tracking DHB IT inventory through the WASP Inventory Tracking System, adhering to established procedures.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, officials, and the public.
- Strong capacity for independent work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficient in resolving routine issues based on existing documentation and training.
- Previous experience in providing technical support.
- Demonstrated capability in deploying and configuring desktop and laptop computers, along with peripheral devices.
- Candidates must be US Citizens or currently hold a Green Card.
- Local candidates only.
- W-2 rate of up to $25/hour; corp to corp arrangements are acceptable.
