Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate meetings, conferences, and other activities to ensure effective communication between state and county staff regarding CWIS-related concerns affecting Child Welfare.
- Collaborate with CWIS business, policy, and project team members to troubleshoot issues, replicate problems, and report any unexpected outcomes.
- Utilize expertise in NC Child Welfare policy and CWIS/NC FAST functionalities to assist new users in navigating and inputting data into the system.
- Travel extensively throughout the state as necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Expertise in change management practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Preferred: Knowledge of NC Child Welfare policy, SharePoint, and JIRA.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or holder of a Green Card.
- Previous experience in child welfare or related fields is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.

Compensation And Benefits
- Up to $22/hour (W-2).
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- Local candidates only.
- Travel expenses reimbursed per state protocol.
- Opportunities to ride along with employees in state vehicles or receive mileage reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.
- Per diem is paid directly to the contractor, with most hotel expenses billed through the state.
