Key Responsibilities
- Deliver onsite support by implementing ITIL service processes including change, incident, release, and configuration management.
- Execute new releases of service components within the operational environment.
- Manage moves, adds, and modifications to service components, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents and problems related to network infrastructure including routers, firewalls, switches, gateways, and cabling.
- Conduct site surveys, assessments, and maintain accurate physical inventories.
- Collaborate with analysts and specialists to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Install new equipment and infrastructure, which may involve cabling, switches, VOIP, and routers.
- Ensure the availability of necessary equipment prior to site visits, including tools and hardware.
- Engage with vendors for assistance with equipment implementations.
- Maintain standard approved IOS configurations and make necessary hardware adjustments.
- Oversee data management and inventory control documentation.
- Support the management of equipment storage locations and assigned vehicles.
- Familiarity with ITIL service processes and best practices.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to network components such as routers and firewalls.
- Strong data management and inventory control skills.
- Ability to perform physical inventories and site assessments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with the NSWAN database and Remedy Asset database is advantageous.
- Experience in IT support or related fields.
- A solid background in network infrastructure management is preferred.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes is essential.
