Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and support the AASHTOWare Project (AWP) for NCDOT.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and fellow technical staff to deliver essential functionalities for the AWP Preconstruction and CRL modules.
- Execute a wide range of programming and analytical tasks independently.
- Engage in system administration, report writing, automated testing, configuration, and interface development related to AWP.
- Participate actively in an Agile SCRUM team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results within established timelines.
- Proficiency in SQL, C#, .NET, Python, and PowerShell for web application development.
- Familiarity with LAMDA for web application development and the ability to articulate its application effectively.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles in software development and their practical implementation.
- Experience with GIT for source code maintenance and best practices in technical execution.
- Understanding of AASHTOWare project tools and processes, including the AWP data model.
- Ability to create and modify custom reports using AWP’s Active Reports tool.
- Proven track record of analyzing business user specifications and configuring COTS applications accordingly.
- Demonstrated ability to perform diverse programming and analysis tasks autonomously.
- Experience working directly with state DOT customers is highly preferred.
- A relevant technical degree or equivalent experience is required.
