Now hiring for 2 Part Time Recreation Therapy Specialist!
Essential Job Functions Include :
- Assisting in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the activity programs of the long term care units.
- Be familiar with and complete Care Plans / Documentation.
- Obtaining information from the Residents regarding their interests and hobbies.
- Encouraging Residents to assist in the planning of activity programs.
- Creating and maintaining an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis.
- Assisting in creating the Activities calendar.
- Recommend to the Director equipment and supply needs of the department.
- Must possess the ability to seek out new methods / principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices
- Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Therapeutic Recreation.
