What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Fairview Custom Homes?
Seeking a Project Manager to supervise custom home construction. Duties include:
Set schedules, manage subcontractors, direct customer selections, communicate with customers, explain, supervise and assist subcontractors with tasks and problem resolution; manage project schedules and budgets, read construction drawings, perform site measurements, ensure jobsite cleanliness, document progress.
- Identify and manage project risks and ensure that mitigation plans are developed and implemented.
- Ensure the proper administration of construction contracts and obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
- Conduct project close-out activities, including final inspections and project handover.
- Resolve project issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
- Establish and maintain communication with project stakeholders, including owners, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Communicate accurate information to others in a professional and courteous manner and convey a willingness to assist others.
- Display a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operate effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrate trustworthiness and responsible behavior.
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn and assume responsibility; seek out and accept increased responsibility; display a "can do" approach to work.
- Show persistence and seek alternatives when obstacles arise; work cooperatively with others to seek alternative solutions; do things before being asked or forced to by events.

Requires: 4 years construction experience. 2 project management experience required.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, email and smartphone required. BuilderTrend and PlanSwift software experience also a plus.
- Must be willing to submit to drug and alcohol testing.
- English language writing and speaking proficiency required. Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
