Responsibilities Job Description
- Contributes to and executes the vision for promoting clinical excellence and program growth in a highly matrixed organization and competitive marketplace.
- Collaborates and aligns with other leaders, both site and system based, to ensure high quality services are provided within professional regulatory and accrediting body standards. Drives vision and strategy that advance the strategic imperatives utilizing organizational process improvement methodologies.
- Ensures overall clinical quality and safety that meets or exceeds national best practice benchmarks.
- Partners with Advanced Practice Nurses, Physicians and other stakeholders to drive quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications
Required
Education
- Master’s degree in nursing, health care administration, business administration or related field. If Bachelor’s degree is not in Nursing, Master’s must be in Nursing.
Experience
- Six years nursing experience, at least three of which are in a progressive leadership role in a healthcare environment. Minimum of 1-year leadership within perioperative services.
License/Certification/Registration
- Licensed Registered Nurse. Ability to obtain Minnesota nursing license at time of hire.
- BLS certification
