We are hiring for a Portfolio Manager to support our Strategy Office at Fairview Health Services. As a key member of the team, the Portfolio Manager will support the CSDO across multiple initiatives associated with the strategy function. They will be responsible for management and support of multiple workplans and deliverables. The individual will plan and effectively manage various aspects including but not limited to design, planning, quality and risk mitigation.

Portfolio Management, Execution & Quality
- Support strategy function objectives, and key deliverables, while maintaining a solid grasp of system strategies and priorities
- For assigned initiatives, develop a comprehensive plan, incorporating deliverables, resources, milestones, accountabilities, communication plan and timelines
- Manage plans and deliverables through effective management of scope, milestones quality, and risks.
- Provide portfolio management in a way that supports executive in the timely delivery on commitments/tasks being supported.
- Support Governance by clarifying accountabilities, build and manage agendas and facilitate purposeful discussions and decision-making.
- Track Progress and Budget: Monitor project progress against deliverables and key outcomes; estimate and manage the program budget to ensure successful results.
- Manage Resources and Risks: Identify resource requirements, track availability, and manage risks, including the escalation and resolution of critical issues.
- Log, track, and escalate high priority project issues, risks and mitigation plan with leadership that may impact ability to deliver a quality project according to plan.
- As applicable, lead and participate in regular post-implementation reviews and present project metrics to help evaluate project quality.
- Ensure appropriate testing and quality reviews, with sign offs as needed
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Provide proactive communication and manage expectations
- Engage stake holders to understand risks, barriers and escalations and be a thought partner on solutions and mitigation
- Develop, maintain and share progress metrics and KPIs.
- Maintains working knowledge of assigned projects with ability to represent and speak to the work.
Research and Continuous Improvement
- Conduct Research and Analysis: Perform necessary research to define best practice, content and explore creative solutions.
- Apply Best Practices: Leverage knowledge of healthcare best practices and industry trends to drive value.

Qualifications
Required Education:
- Master’s in healthcare administration
Required Experience:
- Over 5 years of program management experience in complex and highly matrixed healthcare organizations, overseeing system-wide projects with successful outcomes.
- More than 75 years of portfolio management experience leading cross-functional teams, managing a diverse project portfolio, and consistently achieving business objectives.
- Competent in project management methodologies, processes, and industry-standard tools, with a proven track record of managing project plans, schedules, test plans, resources, and budgets.
- Skilled in change management principles with the ability to drive effective transitions and organizational change.
- Proven ability to present project-related information clearly, concisely, and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
- Demonstrated competence in managing ambiguity and navigating complex situations with effective solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at addressing challenges and developing strategic solutions.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook, with advanced capabilities in utilizing these tools for project management.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with a track record of driving issue resolution and fostering collaborative environments.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all organizational levels, fostering rapport and collaboration to achieve common goals.
