M Health Fairview has an immediate opening for a Clinic RN at the M Health Fairview Specialty Clinic -Beam located in Maplewood, MN. Our clinic hours are 7AM to 5PM Monday – Friday so no evenings, weekends, or holidays! This provides an excellent work life balance!
This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two week pay period), benefits-eligible opening.
The schedule for this opening is: Monday -Friday 8am-430pm (Subject to change based on clinic needs)
Responsibilities Job Description
The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and providing professional care for patients in an ambulatory setting. While following established standards and protocols, the RN delivers care that is unique to all ages served by the clinic. The RN provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established nursing standards and practices. As a member of the patients care team, the RN supports quality patient and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions within a care team to support the needs of the team and patients. The nurse will educate patients and the public about various medical conditions, maintain complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.
This position would cover both allergy and pulmonary specialties.
- Involves the patient, support network, and other health care team members in assembling data
- Identify outcomes that are age appropriate, culturally appropriate, realistic, and attainable
- Provides care according to the plan, and in accordance with all relevant policies, procedures, and relevant nursing practice guidelines
- Coordinates nursing care with all other health team members
- Systematically and continuously evaluates patient’s response to interventions
- Modifies the interventions based on patient response and changing conditions
- Prioritizes work based on acuity, provider schedule, available resources, and patient preferences, in conjunction with the provider
- Performs technical procedures, including medication, as defined by clinical setting
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid RN License from MN Board of Nursing
- Experience working as an RN
Preferred Qualifications:
- Acute Care experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher (BSN, BAN, or MSN)
- ICU experience
