About this Unit:
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work on a medical/surgical unit? If so, then the Intermediate Care Unit may be an excellent fit for you! This 39 bed unit is situated on the 3rd Floor at Southdale Hospital, and provides telemetry and IMC care for surgical patients. The IMC team focuses on patient-centered care and multi-disciplinary collaboration, on a unit that is lively and exciting.

This position is 72 hours every two weeks on the Night shifts, 12 hour shifts (7PM-7:30AM) with every third weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Responsibilities Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- MN RN License
- BLS for Health Care Provider
- Six months current RN acute care experience
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- One year of RN Med/Surg experience
