M Health Fairview, U of M East bank is now hiring for a sterile processing Shift Coordinator! Do you want to be part of an outstanding team? We provide the Operating Room with the surgical instruments and supplies needed for surgery cases.
The Shift Coordinator is accountable for the coordination of all activities on a shift by shift basis in the O/R Department and reports to the OR/CSP Supervisor.
The Shift Coordinator oversees the shift activities, monitors overall SIPT quality of work and prioritizes assignments to assure timely, productive, and efficient use of resources. Ensures supplies and instruments/case carts are prepared for daily scheduled procedures.
This is a full time position (1.0 FTE) working the overnight shift: 10:30pm - 7:00am, Sunday through Thursday.

Qualifications
Required
Experience
- Two to five years of sterile processing or experience in the OR
Preferred
Education
- Completion from one of the following programs: Dentral Service, Scrub Tech, LPN or RN
Experience
- 3 years of shift coordination/administration experience
License/Certification/Registration
- Central Service Tech; Surgical Instrument Tech; Scrub Tech, LPN, RN
