Functions:
- Seeking an Accounting professional that is ready to take on additional responsibilities and grow their career. As this is a new business, this role will require strong critical thinking and problem solving as we build processes and procedures to support a growing business. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies.
- Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Review and analyze financial performance, providing recommendations for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Coordinate and assist with audits.
Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in Accounting from a four-year university
- 3 years’ experience in accounting roles(Public Accounting, Mix of Public Accounting & Industry experience)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA, MACC or MBA
- Experience with utilizing ERP systems for reporting and data analysis
- Manufacturing industry experience
