NOW HIRING AN ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR FOR AN IMMEDIATE FULL-TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY!

Fairway Corp is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Coordinator to join our growing finance team. This role involves supporting key accounting operations, including sales tax filing, license renewals, and acquisition transitions. The ideal candidate will have previous accounting experience, strong multitasking abilities, and a proactive mindset. Industry or utilities experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Tax Filing: File and pay sales taxes across multiple states in a timely and accurate manner.
- Business Licenses: Track and renew business licenses for all brands under the Fairway umbrella.

Acquisition Support:
- Participate in weekly acquisition calls to provide accounting support.
- Assist with the integration of new brands into corporate banking, AP, merchant processing, and daily/monthly accounting systems.
- Set up new Merchant IDs and help onboard new entities to financial systems.
- Treasury Support:
- Maintain user access in Bank of America systems.
- Set up new users and assist with password resets.
- Open new bank accounts for acquisitions.
- Order and coordinate delivery of deposit machines for new entities.
Requirements:
- Prior accounting experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with utilities or multi-brand organizations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and financial software.
