Fairway Electric Inc is a Veteran Owned utility construction company that is rapidly expanding our Project Management team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and sustainability. This role is critical in ensuring that all utility services meet regulatory standards while optimizing performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of utility systems In Distribution and Transmission electricity.
- Coordinate projects related to system upgrades, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of utility infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement system improvements.
- Utilize project management tools such as Heavy Jobs and Fulcrum for effective project coordination.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to utility systems.
- Oversee budget management for utility projects while ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in utility management and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant industry standards.
- Proficiency in project management software including Heavy Jobs and Fulcrum.
- Experience in system design, project coordination, and time management.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- A strong commitment to safety practices within the utility sector.
- Participate and lead team meetings.
- Ability to work alone with little supervision.
- Build relationships with not only our in-house employees, but build long lasting relationships with our customers.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
