Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers and vision inspection systems, to assess product dimensions and quality.
- Perform quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and test results to support quality management systems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures in alignment with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of quality systems and best practices within the organization.
Skills
- Strong understanding of CGMP regulations and quality management principles.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, for accurate assessments.
- Experience with vision inspection systems for evaluating product integrity.
- Familiarity with conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions based on findings.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards is highly desirable.
- Ability to fabricate components as needed during the inspection process.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
