FAIRWINDS is looking for a part time Information Security Intern to join us at the Alafaya Trail Support Center. This intern will gain hands-on experience in protecting our organization's digital assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems. This role will involve a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing our security posture and mitigating potential threats.A Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field. This is a Summer program and will require 20 hours / week for 8-12 weeks with a pay rate of $15 / hr.
Responsibilities :
- Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of security measures and controls.
- Monitoring and analyzing security alerts and incidents.
- Supporting the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
- Participating in security awareness training for employees.
- Assisting with the investigation and response to security events.
Desired Experience : A Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
This internship may involve some physical tasks, such as setting up security equipment and conducting on-site assessments.
