Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate full and part time Preschool / PreK teachers for our 4-year-old classes at Faith Christian Academy family in Hurt, Virginia. Our PreK-12 school is located on a beautiful campus in a country setting. We offer a quality Christian education with a focus on raising the next generation of spiritual champions. We are a growing school celebrating our 35th anniversary and are adding to our PreK program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves educating and nurturing students, creating engaging lesson plans, and managing classroom behavior effectively.
Requirements
- Born again believer actively involved in their local church
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred. A minimum of an associates degree is required.
- Experience working with preschool or daycare settings is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management.
- A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their love for learning.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.50 - $14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
