Data Governance Program Manager
Faith Group is looking to establish a new Data Governance program to help change the culture and evolve into a more data driven organization. We collect data for numerous business units and processes. In this key role you will be directly accountable for establishing and growing our governance services covering a suite of topics such as taxonomy, data stewardship & platform connectivity. This position is responsible for leading a multi-discipline team, fostering talent growth, building strong partnerships with the shared service delivery team and ensuring technical capabilities are available, as we build out and expand our capabilities.
We are looking to staff one full time resource, on site at DFW Headquarters, for twelve (12) months to establish the Data Governance Program as follows :
Job Responsibilities
- Be the trusted voice and leader on Governance, including being viewed as the definitive voice on how we design, implement and evolve our standard & client custom reporting solutions
- Provide consistent quality standards for all projects and have a positive impact on the attitudes and performance of the team through their own work and initiatives
- Develop documentation around digital implementation standards and processes for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with learning and development team to build training guides and learning videos to distribute globally at scale
- Stay current with latest trends, ad serving methodologies, and processes related to new technologies and existing systems
- Chartering a leadership level Data Governance Work Group and a business / IT level Data Governance Center of Excellence.
- Leverage emerging technology to turn data into insights, increase cyber security, create organizational value, reshape the workforce for data-driven organization, solve critical business challenges and deliver on our customer’s expectations.
- Specifying enterprise information management policies, procedures, standards and control practices
- Facilitating a collaborative engagement helping to determine the structure and maturation for data governance from ground zero
- Identifying IT and Security capabilities, including tools gaps, that data governance should address
- Defining appropriate protection of information assets including data retention and disaster recovery.
- Tracking and measuring success of the overall Data Governance program
- Collaboration with business, security, technical and quality teams to drive the data governance program.
