Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Our mission at Faith in Action Community Education Services is to rebuild our community’s faith in the education system. Provide our families, and students with resources that will enable them to reach the very goals and dreams they have set out to achieve. We’re currently seeking a motivated BCBA to join our team and work with our patients to help them identify and correct problematic behaviors in their lives. BCBA responsibilities include meeting with families and administrators to discuss a patient’s treatment, meeting with patients to observe their behaviors, and taking detailed notes during sessions to help patients.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Responsibilities
· Observing patients and assessing their behavior
· Meeting with families, teachers, or doctors to discuss the patient’s treatment and progress and recommend ways to address behavioral issues.
· Developing individual plans to correct, maintain, or improve certain behaviors.
· Formulate an appropriate treatment plan that is sensitive to clients’ cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs.
· Administer treatment and tailor interventions as needed.
· Advocate for the inclusion of individuals with disorders and disabilities within society
QUALIFICATIONS:
· MA Degree in related field and BCBA certification number. Certification must be kept up to date.
· Must always maintain confidentiality.
· Must follow policies and procedures and support agencies goals and values.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITY: Proven work experience as a BCBA or similar role Knowledge of appropriate referral procedures. Excellent verbal and report writing skills Calm, empathic, and patient nature. The ability to remain composed and adherent to best practices, even when under duress Relevant training and/or certifications as a BCBA.

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
