Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented administrative intern to join our fun and exciting team! This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an office environment while supporting various administrative functions. Duties
- The Volunteer Program Intern supports the administrative aspects of the credentialing process, under the guidance of the Volunteer Program Director. The Volunteer Program Intern prepares, files, and prints, complete medical licenses and other proofs of specialty for applicable volunteers.
- Runs logistics reports from the database for teams and organizes details for each team. Notifies appropriate staff of missing flight information.
- As needed, the intern will help upload documentation to the appropriate volunteer accounts.
- Logs sponsorship applications into the sponsorship folder and files applications appropriately.
- Volunteer Program Intern prepares the reports for the assembly and mailing of Volunteer Welcome Packets.
- Prepares Team Leadership Packets for teams in a timely fashion.
- Working with department staff, the Volunteer Program Intern may help make updates to the Volunteer Resources
- Ensures that supplies used for department-related tasks are kept in stock.
- Support cross functional projects and respond to inter department support needs to support the overall goals of the organization.
Experience
- Previous experience in an office setting or administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and calendar management is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is beneficial.
