Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a police academy training program is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Certification in CPR or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring.
- Knowledge of criminal investigation techniques and law enforcement principles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent conflict management skills with a focus on community engagement.
- Experience or knowledge in animal care may be beneficial for specific community-related incidents.
- Must pass background checks, drug screenings, and any other pre-employment requirements as mandated by law enforcement standards.
