We are seeking a kitchen staff member who is always willing to learn new things, and is always on the lookout for ways to be more efficient. Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
• Communicate with coworkers in both verbal and written form.
• Prepare ingredients in a timely manner.
• Preparing for service for the upcoming week.
• Follow exact recipies.
• Help on the line if necessary.
• Cook the food to order according to customers' needs and preferences.
• Wash/Sanitize Dishes.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures.
• Be on time.
• The ability to think ahead and be able to plan tasks without instruction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or kitchen environment
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of food handling and safety practices
• Familiarity with meal preparation and food service operations
• Experience in catering and serving is a plus
• Background in dietary department or menu planning is advantageous
• Culinary experience is highly valued

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
