We are adding a Maintenance Technician to our 1st shift team in Brookings, SD!
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all maintenance activities in our Brookings, SD facility. We offer a team environment with people that actually like to work together and collaborate on ideas and processes.
This position will give you the opportunity to work on many different activities and challenges through the day. At the start of your day, you could be changing a light bulb then working on sitting up a new press or maybe trouble shooting a robot.
Education and/or Experience: Associate's degrees (A. A.) in related field and 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills Needed: Mechanical, Mathematical and Reasoning Ability.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics and precision measuring instruments.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance production efficiency and safety.
- Document maintenance activities using CMMS and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in the installation and calibration of programmable logic controllers and HVAC systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating scissor lifts and handling high-voltage systems.

Pay: From $46,500.00 per year
