Position Overview:Falcon Ridge Public Charter School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Math Interventionist for the 2025-2026 school year. This .8 FTE position focuses on supporting students who need additional help in mathematics, working with both individuals and small groups to improve math skills and understanding. The Math Interventionist will collaborate closely with teachers to provide targeted instruction and intervention strategies, ensuring all students have the support they need to succeed.
This is a one-year contracted position for the 2025-2026 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and small-group math intervention for students in need of additional support.
- Utilize evidence-based math strategies and intervention techniques to improve student learning outcomes.
- Implement a push-in support model in the middle school, working alongside teachers to assist struggling students within the classroom setting.
- Collaborate with teachers to identify student needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Provide resources, instructional strategies, and professional guidance to teachers to support math instruction across grade levels.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data-driven decision-making.
- Support a growth mindset and foster a positive attitude toward math learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Valid Idaho teaching certification with an endorsement in mathematics or related area preferred.
- Experience working with math intervention strategies and differentiated instruction.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support staff.
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts, instructional strategies, and assessment techniques.
- Experience working in a K-8 educational setting is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
- This is a .8 FTE position, with salary and benefits prorated accordingly.
- Salary based on experience and qualifications, following the Falcon Ridge Public Charter School salary schedule.
