What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Milling Setup position at Falk Precision?
We are looking to add a CNC Setup Person to our team. Falk Precision is employee-owned for over ten years and is continuing to grow. We work four days, ten hour shifts with paid holidays. Other benefits include vacation and personal time, health insurance and 401k.
- Full setup capability with CNC VERTICAL MILLS machines
- Responsible for loading parts, operating controls, setting offsets simple edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements
- Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machines, within capabilities, controls or control media as required to insure quality of production. Reports all machine or other malfunctions
- Measures and marks dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces as a guide for subsequent machining
- Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment
- Use micrometers, depth gages, calipers & other measuring tool
Education and Experience Required:
- Experience with programming CNC machines
- Full Setup Experience of CNC machines
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings and tape measure
- Must have working knowledge of Cam Works. Solid Works experience a plus
- Interpret and apply GD & T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
