marketing campaigns and strategies to attract top talent; handling the full life cycle of the recruiting process / programs.
As the Temporary HR Assistant your day will include :
- Provide hands-on talent acquisition leadership to attract, identify, hire and on-board highly qualified team members.
- Collaborate with hiring leaders to determine current and projected staffing needs.
- Provide full life cycle recruitment responsibilities for variety of positions based on school needs.
- Maintain the (ATS) Applicant Tracking System and HRIS; keep the system updated with job descriptions, postings, metrics, candidate standings and progress through the recruitment process.
- Develop, maintain and monitor various types of innovative sourcing strategies including networking, third party job boards, industry events, educational institutions and other sources to attract and drive candidate traffic.
- Create, manage and update all recruitment job boards.
- Conduct sourcing and screening interviews; assess and following up with potential candidates.
- Support hiring leaders by checking references, initiating background checks and completing new hire processing.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with employment agencies, schools, universities, and other recruitment sources.
- Process employee position and salary changes and separations.
- Conduct new hire onboarding activities, including new hire processing, communication to all key team members regarding new hire start date and new hire check-ins and surveys.
- Ensure that all recruiting processes and procedures follow federal, state & local legal requirements and best practices.
- Support positive employee relations and facilitate the resolution of candidate and employee concerns throughout the hiring process.
- Provide ongoing guidance, development and support for organizational retention and recognition activities.
- Handle other human resources matters and complete other duties as needed
- Model and practice sensitivity, fair treatment and acceptance of diversity in all interpersonal interactions.
