Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings
- Perform medical procedures such as suturing and phlebotomy
- Utilize medical terminology accurately in documentation and communication
- Assist in emergency room (ER) settings and urgent care situations
- Manage pain effectively and provide care for patients with dementia
- Demonstrate knowledge of Athenahealth system for patient record management
Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in medical procedures including suturing and phlebotomy
- Familiarity with urgent care practices and pain management techniques
- Knowledge of dementia care protocols
- Understanding of human physiology and anatomy
- Ability to use Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems
Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $54.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
