MLL Summer Newcomer Program: Location TBD
Background:
The MLL Summer Program will be a four-week summer academic/enrichment program running from July 7th-August 1st, 2025. The program will operate Mondays –Fridays from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
The program will be held on site in Fall River at a school TBD. Students will work on fun and engaging project-based lessons based on grade level science curriculum, receive direct instruction in oral language, and continue to build English skills to access grade level content. This program is designed for newcomers and will have a specific focus on English language acquisition for students in grades K-5.

Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
- Implementing enrichment activities that embed the Massachusetts content frameworks and promote 21st CCLC learning outcomes
- Taking and reporting attendance
- Supervising children throughout the day
- Attending professional development before the start of the summer program
- Chaperoning students on field trips
Salary:
FREA Hourly Rate
Program Duration:
July 7th-August 1st (Monday-Friday; 8:00-12:00)
- There will be an orientation scheduled for the week prior (Tentatively 6/30)
