Certified Speech Language Pathology Assistant Position
The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is seeking a Certified Speech Language Pathology Assistant to support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) during the 2025 Extended School Year (ESY). This role will involve working with students in grades Preschool through 8th grade at multiple school sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with speech and language disorders under the supervision of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist
- Develop and implement individualized communication plans to meet student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent support for students
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders preferred
- Current registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board
- Valid California driver's license
Work Schedule:
- 19 days, June 3 - June 30, 2025
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 12:20 p.m., 4.33 hours/day
