What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Store Manager position at Falling Prices?
We are hiring a FULL-TIME Manager at our Falling Prices store in Fairfield, CA. Falling Prices is a fast-paced, bin store with high volume freight and a large customer base. If you have a strong work ethic and a desire to work for a growing company, we want to hear from you!
Schedule: 9:45 AM to 6:15 PM Tuesday through Saturday and occasional overtime.
Managers must be available during the above hours.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a team of 3 - 10 employees
- Oversee team meetings
- Delegate tasks to team members effectively
- Ability to resolve employee workplace issues
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner and solve any issues that arise
- Accurately and efficiently operate POS system to process cash/card payments
- Maintain clean work environment by sweeping, cleaning, and disposing of boxes and trash
- Provide excellent customer service
- Stock and organize products
- Lift and move various products within the store, including to and from shelving units, shopping carts, and other areas
- Unload trucks/freight
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs
- Work efficiently in a team environment
- Perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use a forklift as needed
- Previous retail management experience required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $23.00-36.00/hr
Location: One, Onsite
Work hours: Tuesday through Saturday from 9:45 AM to 6:15 PM plus occasional overtime
