ESY Connect Program Special Needs Teachers
Summer Program : July 7, 2025 - August 14, 2025
3 days (Tuesday - Thursday), 8 : 45AM - 12 : 15PM
Qualifications :
- Massachusetts licensure in special education required, severe disabilities preferred.
- Demonstrated experience as an inclusion special education teacher or as a special education teacher of a substantially separate program.
- Such other alternatives as the Director of Student Services may deem acceptable and appropriate.
Responsibilities :
Serve as lead teacher providing direct instruction to students with special needs in accordance with their IEPs.Work in concert with other special needs staff, related services providers, specialists, and administrative personnel to develop and implement viable extended year programming for special education students.Complete progress reports, behavior support plans, communication logs, data sheets, and other data as required by local, state, and federal guidelines.Work with teaching assistants to facilitate programming for the students.Participate in staff meetings as needed, providing updates and advice to the team, including parents and guardians. Work collaboratively with the ESY Coordinator and colleagues to provide effective student support.Such other responsibilities may from time to time be assigned by the Director of Student Services and the Extended School Year Coordinator.Salary : In accordance with FEA contract
