Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly to incidents. The Security Officer will monitor premises through surveillance systems, enforce rules and regulations, and provide assistance during emergencies.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Operate surveillance equipment to observe activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting investigations as necessary.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Provide assistance in conflict management situations, ensuring de-escalation when needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for incident reporting or investigations.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities.
Experience
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with conflict management techniques is beneficial.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
- Military background or training can be a plus for this role.
