We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient movement, storage, and handling of materials within our facility. This position is critical to maintaining a smooth workflow and meeting operational deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and move materials within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage materials for shipment or production.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against orders or invoices.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
