Responsibilities:
- Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse or production area.
- Load and unload materials from trucks or delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting and documenting materials accurately.
- Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and organized according to company procedures.
- Prepare materials for shipment by packaging, labeling, and staging orders.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Inspect materials for quality and report any damage or discrepancies.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as required.
- Keep the workspace clean, safe, and organized.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment (certification is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and stack heavy items (up to 50 lbs.).
- Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
