We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and organization of materials in our warehouse or production facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and move materials within the facility using manual and mechanical means.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory.
- Prepare materials for shipment, including packing, labeling, and staging.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality and accuracy.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain organization within the warehouse.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking (preferred).
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one (preferred).
