In this role, you will be responsible for supporting stockroom operations to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials. You will play a vital role in maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing stockroom areas, and supporting production or shipping activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Safely store and organize materials in designated stockroom areas.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Retrieve and deliver materials to production or shipping departments as requested.
- Monitor stockroom conditions and ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines when operating equipment and handling materials.
- Assist in cycle counting and inventory audits.
- Collaborate with team members to improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in stockroom, inventory, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other stockroom equipment (training available if needed).
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
