What are the responsibilities and job description for the WORKFORCE COORDINATOR position at Famicos Foundation?
If you are passionate about Cleveland neighborhoods and its residents and capable of leveraging your relationship with community residents around job readiness, job placement, and job retention in Built Environment training programs, you might be the perfect candidate for the Workforce Coordinator position that Cleveland Neighborhood Progress and Famicos Foundation have available. Your goal will be to enroll 300 residents in built environment training programs - 75% of enrollees being Black, Indigenous, and people of color and/or women.
You will:
- Partner with Built Environment Collaborative and other participating CDCs to implement an effective outreach strategy
- Collaborate with CNP, Built Environment team members and OMJCC marketing team to develop engaging and effective social media and outreach campaigns
- Convene monthly/bi-monthly meetings, events and neighborhood-based activities that provide a platform for linking individuals to BE training programs they may not otherwise be aware of
- Connect residents to new and existing training programs tailored to meet employer needs
- Collect, input and track field data related to BE training programs
- Adhere to City of Cleveland Built Environment reporting requirements
You need:
- A High School diploma or GED
- 2-5 years of paid experience in a community building or social service environment
- Comfort with data collection, management and reporting as well as software and technology (such as personal computers, handheld devices, Microsoft Office Suites)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohort/collaborative team
- A valid State of Ohio Driver's License and adequate vehicle insurance coverage
- Reliable transportation to conduct field surveys
Pay: $50-55k
Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
