Overview:
We are an established workers' compensation defense firm seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to workers's compensation defense attorneys and ensure office's smooth operations and effectiveness.
Job Description:
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Prepare legal documents and correspondences to opposing counsel
- Coordinate/schedule hearings, depositions, AME/QME exams
- Manage attorney calendars
- Assist with billing and time entry
- Performed other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements/Skills:
- 1-2 years minimum experience as a legal secretary preferably in workers' compensation law office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in E-file (EAMS), A1- Law Case Management software is a plus
- Organized, attention to details and ability to prioritize work
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members with a great attitude and respect
This role offers 20-40 hrs/week with flexibility hours. Negotiable pay depending on experience.
