Receptionist/Case Manager

Community based non-profit organization is seeking a passionate, creative, motivated, flexible person for the role of Receptionist/Case Manager. The Receptionist/Case Manage will work with and provide office support, data entry and case management duties to our Visitation, Intimate Partner Abuse Education and Development programs.
Responsibilities
- Providing front desk coverage (answering phones, monitoring answering service portal, checking in clients, etc.)
- Data entry into agency database and server
- Take confirmation calls and notify appropriate staff
- Scanning, uploading, copying and collating agency documents
- Insurance eligibility verification as needed
- Notify the Chief Operating Officer of any building maintenance issues and tracking progress of resolutions
- Filing of client-related documents, copying records, maintaining agency files, including cataloging and storage of closed case files
- Assist during emergency situations
- Perform opening/closing procedures, cleaning and organizing waiting area as needed throughout the day
- Monitor and submit supply order requests to the Chief Operating Officer
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have cultural awareness and experience working and interacting with diverse populations
- At least 3 years’ office experience
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be highly organized, reliable and dependable
- Solid understanding of HIPAA, confidentiality and privacy practices is required
- Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required
Hours
This position is full-time at 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday 9am to 5 pm). Occasional flexibility is required to meet coverage needs.
Salary Range: $21-24 per hour
