Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance an individual with dementia, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. You will work in a home setting, where your skills in patient monitoring and care will make a significant impact on the lives of those you serve.
Duties
As a Caregiver, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Providing companionship and emotional support to resident
- Monitoring the health and behavior of individuals, taking blood pressures and recording.
- Implementing care plans tailored to patients needs, including those with dementia
- Assisting with mobility and lifting as needed
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for all residents
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience working with elderly and with individuals who have dementia preferred
- Certification in CNA is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within CARE team
- A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required
- Previous experience in patient monitoring or dementia care is a plus
- Help patient with problem solving such as painting, gardening, puzzles.
