What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Female Caregiver position at PT Caregiver, paid through Consumer Directions?
Job Summary
Looking for a caring, trustworthy PT Female Caregiver for myself. I am 46 years old and love nature, art, and a good laugh! I have autoimmune and neurological challenges.
Qualifications
Certification not required. Experience with chronic fatigue, immune, and sensory challenges preferred. The caregivers I look for are kind, responsible, quiet, calm, independent workers, multitaskers, have strong communication skills, and a good sense of humor. Non-smoker. Must pass a background check and have a reliable vehicle.
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate care and assist with a clean home. Primarily cook, clean, organize, wash my hair, run errands, and bring me to appointments.
Hours: 6-15 hours a week, depending on your availability. Possibility of more hours. Thur, Fri or Sat between 10am - 5pm.
Pay and benefits: $19-$20 depending on experience.
Mileage is paid. PTO. Some holidays paid time and a half. Off Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
I have a waiver through the county with self-directed care. You would be paid through Consumer Directions, a fiscal entity. All tax laws are followed.
A bit about myself:
We have a quiet, scent-free, and chemical-free home. We have a dog and a cat, which you would not be responsible for taking care of. I used to be a teacher, tutor, and PCA until I became chronically ill. I enjoy people but am not able to socialize as much as I'd like. I am trying to increase my independence with ADL's and learn to draw, paint, and sew.
Our goal is to be a blessing to you as you sure will be to us!
