JOB SUMMARY:
The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the management and maintenance of provider calendars, referrals, and client/community partner communications. Day-to-day functions include, but are not limited to, consumer outreach and engagement, scheduling, maintenance of referrals, elements associated with release of information, and data tracking and reporting. Must be organized, have strong computer and customer service skills, and work well in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. Must demonstrate proper telephone etiquette and maintain solid customer relations while maintaining a positive agency image at all times. Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish is required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Requires a high school diploma or the equivalent, preferably with courses in typing, office administration and computer software.
- Two years of experience in related office work is required.
- Requires ability to work with the public, ability to work with agitated, mentally ill and/or substance-abusing consumers, ability to maintain an effective working relationship with agency employees.
- Ability to maintain a professional manner and confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to manage multi-line telephone system and other communication technologies.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Knowledge in Microsoft office suite, including Excel.
