Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Exercise Rehab Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our chiropractic practice by providing exceptional patient care and assisting with various clinical tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, a background in therapeutic exercise and fitness, as well as excellent patient service skills.
Duties
- Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Chiropractic Physician
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients as directed.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physician
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, body mechanics, and techniques for improving mobility.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments provided.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with our chiropractic team to ensure integrated patient care
- Contribute to patient education and practice marketing initiatives
- Maintain a positive, encouraging environment for patients during their healing journey
- Support Office staff with outside education and marketing
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize office efficiency.
Requirements
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics is essential.
- Exercise Science background, Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor, or related field.
- Ability to perform basic patient assessments to assist in treatment planning.
- Skills in group fitness instruction or sports coaching are advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
